A man has been jailed for 16 months after a break in at a medical centre in Calderdale over Christmas.

40 year old Jonathon Gillie, of Athol Gardens in Halifax, admitted to four counts of burglary at Bradford Crown Court on December 31.

It follows a spate of break ins at the Beechwood Medical Centre in Illingworth between Christmas Day and December 27, with Gillie being identified from CCTV.

Officers found medication at Gillie's home on December 30, which he's believed to have taken from the medical centre.
