Man in life threatening condition after Leeds crash

A man is in a life threatening condition after a collision in Leeds.

Police say the rider of an electric bike was involved in a crash with a parked car in Bramley.

A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital where he remains in a life threatening condition.

A Police statement said:

"Police are appealing for witnesses after the rider of an electric bike received life threatening injuries in a road traffic collision in Leeds.

"At about 9.10pm last night, the bike was involved in a collision with a parked Vauxhall Astra in Broadlea Terrace, Bramley, near to the junction with Broadlea Close.

"The rider, a 20-year-old man, was taken to hospital by ambulance and remains in a critical condition.

"Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the bike being ridden in the time leading up to it, particularly anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV footage."
