Man dies after crash on M62 near Huddersfield
The accident led to the road being closed in both directions on Tuesday
A man from Huddersfield has died after a crash on the M62 on Tuesday.
It happened on the Eastbound carriageway at around 2:30pm on Tuesday, close to junction 22 near Rishworth Moor.
Six vehicles were involved. The 39 year old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four other people were injured. A 37 year old man remains in hospital with serious injuries.
It's thought a Ford Fiesta hit crash barriers and rebounded onto the carriageway, causing vehicles to break suddenly.
