Man charged over Bradford police station gun and knife incident

A 29 year old man's been charged over an incident at Bradford's central police station on Saturday (1st April, 2023).

Armed officers were called to their own reception area where colleagues reported being threatened by a man with a hand-gun and a knife.

Adil Akksar from Chapel Street in nearby Little Germany's today been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

He's due to appear at Bradford magistrates on Monday (3rd April).
