Man arrested after serious crash near Penistone
A man is in hospital after being seriously injured
A man has been arrested after a serious crash between a Land Rover and a scooter near Penistone.
It happened at around 8:15pm yesterday evening (June 2nd) on Mortimer Road.
A man in his 50s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 47-year-old man from Stocksbridge has been arrested.
He accused of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop and driving while unfit through drink or drugs.
Police are urging any witnesses to the crash to get in touch.
