Man appears in court charged with murder after two found dead in Huddersfield

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering two people who were found dead at a house in Huddersfield.

Marcus Osbourne, 34, of Harpe Inge in Dalton, is accused of killing Katie Higton, 27, and Steven Harnett, 25.

The pair were found dead at her house on Monday.

Mr. Osbourne spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth, and no application for bail was made.

He will next be in court on July 5 for a pre-trail hearing and a provisional trial date was set for November 6th.

The 34-year-old is also charged with two counts of murder as well as false imprisonment and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in relation to another woman.
