Everton to host rugby league's Magic Weekend in 2026
12 of the 14 top flight clubs are due to clash at the Hill Dickinson Stadium next July
Everton's new Hill Dickinson Stadium will host rugby league's Magic Weekend for the first time in 2026.
Twelve of the 14 top-flight clubs will clash over July 4 and 5 at the venue, which staged the second Ashes Test between England and Australia earlier this month.
The line-up will include a series of local derbies including reigning champions Hull KR against Hull FC, Bradford against Leeds, and Wigan versus St Helens.
In addition, Catalans Dragons and Toulouse will meet over the same weekend in France with a venue yet to be confirmed.
RL commercial managing director Rhodri Jones said: "With memories still fresh of an unforgettable occasion for the Ashes Test, we're delighted to be able to confirm a return to Hill Dickinson Stadium for the 2026 Betfred Super League Magic Weekend."
