Leeds dance icons Utah Saints to headline Club Classical Ibiza event in Millennium Square
We're promised a 'unique' Ibiza inspired event in the heart of Leeds next summer
Leeds electronic music icons Utah Saints are to headline a unique Ibiza-inspired dance party, in Millennium Square next summer.
Club Classical Ibiza is booked in for Friday June 26 2026, with the event promising high-energy performances with live DJ sets from Utah Saints, Leeds-based DJ Andi Durrant, and a special guest DJ yet to be announced.
The night will culminate in an orchestral collaboration with the Symphony Orchestra of Opera North, featuring renditions of classic 90s dance tracks combined with powerful live instrumentation.
Special guest vocalist Janice Robinson of Livin’ Joy will also deliver her iconic hit Dreamer alongside a group of backing vocalists and more special performers to be confirmed soon.
Utah Saints, who have had a string of dance hits since the early 90s, said:
“We’re really excited to bring this show back to Leeds... Being able to curate our own full summer event in our hometown makes it even more special."
"Leeds has been at the heart of everything we’ve done, and we can’t wait to share this huge night of dance music and orchestral power with everyone.”
The duo has performed alongside the Orchestra of Opera North twice before but will now present their own spin on the Club vs Classical trend with orchestral versions of their hit singles Something Good and What Can You Do For Me.
Councillor Salma Arif, Leeds City Council’s executive member for adult social care, active lifestyles and culture, commented:
“Millennium Square is such a unique and vibrant venue and it’s fantastic that we’re able to host such an exciting line-up of artists at the heart of the city centre each and every year.
“It’s even more special that, as part of our programme, we’re also able to showcase the incredible talents of some of our local artists, performers, and cultural institutions like Opera North. I’m sure this will be a memorable performance and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.”
The event is a collaboration between Leeds City Council, Opera North, and producers of 80s Classical, which will take place on Millennium Square the following evening.
