Leeds United Issues Safety Message After Terror Attacks
Leeds United have issued a safety message to fans in the wake of the terror attacks in Paris.
It's also confirmed a minute's silence will be held before kick-off at Saturday's game against Rotherham United as a mark of respect for all of those affected.
Paris-born captain Sol Bamba will also lay a wreath in the centre circle beforehand.
In a statement published on their website, the club says:
"As a result of the tragic events in Paris last week, we have assessed our matchday operation, looking at what we can do to assure all fans of a safe stadium.
"We would request that all fans coming to Elland Road consider not bringing any bags into the stadium with them, as this will slow down entry. ALL bags will be searched in all areas of the stadium on entry and tagged.
"As a result, entry to the ground will be slowed so the turnstiles will be opening at the earlier time of 1.45pm on Saturday. We are encouraging fans to arrive early, with additional searching to be carried out upon entering the stadium.
"We would like ask that supporters do NOT share your tickets or season cards with anyone, so that they remain secure and the integrity of the ground is maintained."
