A student in Leeds is setting up a new service to help people with mental health issues in the city.

PhD student Robin Kaye is behind project SOS, which will be an app and a phone service for people.

It's designed to provide rapid response to people who need help quickly.

Robin set up the service as he didn't feel there was enough support in the city.

He told Radio Aire:

"I was on a bus one day and was feeling really anxious and ended up texting a friend saying SOS and it was as simple as that and they knew exactly what to do. It got me thinking, what happens if you don't have that person to respond."
