Leeds United have confirmed their third signing of the summer window, with defender Sebastiaan Bornauw joining from Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg.

He's put pen to paper on a four year deal at Elland Road for an undisclosed fee.

The 26 year old joins former teammate Lukas Nmecha and fellow defender Jaka Bijol in bolstering Daniel Farke's squad ahead of Whites' upcoming return to Premier League football.

Bornauw started his career in Belgium at Anderlecht, winning a place in the first team following success in the academy.

His Belgian Pro League performances attracted interest from FC Koln, with Bornauw making the move in 2019.

He made 57 appearances for the Cologne side before heading to Wolfsburg, with whom he has made appearances in the Champions League.

Internationally, the defender has played for every Belgium age group from the under-15s, making his senior debut in 2020.
