Must win match for Rhinos

Any chance of being Super League champions rests on tonight's game at Wigan

Leeds Rhinos must win tonight to keep their 2022 title dreams alive.

The side, who started the season poorly, produced a late run to end up in fifth spot and make the play-off.

After a win at Catalans Dragons last week tonight they face their toughest challenge yet - Wigan Warriors (who ended the regular season second) away.

Though the last time they played the Rhinos were winners, by quite some margin, the game in July ended 42-12 to Leeds.

But Rohan Smith, in his first season as Head Coach at Headingley, isn't getting carried away because of that previous result, "Who we are as a team has evolved since that time, we certainly took some confidence out of the result and performance, but that was a long time ago.

"We did some things really well; we defended really well and connected really well that day and a few things went our way which made the scoreline as it was.

"It's certainly a fresh start and we're expecting Wigan to be at their best."
