Leeds Pride taking place today- list of road closures

Leeds Pride is taking place today and it's the largest free event of its kind in the UK!

Organisers promise it'll be be bigger and better than ever.. with around 50,000 people in attendance.

Road Closures

Access to areas of Leeds City Centre will be restricted to vehicles and city centre public transport routes may be affected during the 2024 Leeds Pride event.

Lower Briggate event site

The following roads (part / whole) will be closed to vehicles and unauthorised pedestrians from to allow for the event build up and breakdown between 5am on Sunday 21 st July and Monday 22nd July:

• Lower Briggate

• Blayds Yard/Heatons Court/Blayds Mews

• Call Lane

• The Calls

• Bridge End

Parade start

Road closures will be in place on the below roads (part / whole) from 7am until approx. 1.30pm to allow the parade floats and participants to assemble

• Portland Crescent

• Portland Gate East

• Cookridge Street

• The Headrow

• Westgate

• Park Square East

Parade route

Road closures will be in place on the below roads (part / whole) from 11am until approx. 15:00pm to allow the Leeds Pride parade to travel from The Headrow to the Lower Briggate event site.
