Leeds Man Who Helped Clarke Carlisle Dies

Former footballer Clarke Carlisle has paid tribute to the Leeds man that helped him after his suicide attempt last year - who himself has now been found dead.

24 year old Chris Kilbride had to swerve to avoid the ex-player lying injured in the middle the A64 after he’d stepped out in front of a truck whilst suffering from depression in December. Carlisle told The Mirror, "It is tragic news. My sincerest condolences go out to his family at this time."

Mr Kilbride’s death is not being treated as suspicious by West Yorkshire Police.
