17 year old dies after being found unresponsive at Leeds hotel

A 17-year-old boy has died after being taken to hospital from a hotel in Leeds on New Year's Day.

Police were called at 8am on Monday to reports that the teenager required medical attention at the premises on Aberford Road, believed to be the Holiday Inn Express.

The police are currently treating his death as unexplained while investigations are underway.
