Leeds drug dealer back behind bars after £10,000 of cocaine seized from home
Police raided a property in Middleton last month, recovering cocaine and luxury watches
A convicted Leeds drug dealer has been sent back to prison, after Class A drugs were found during a search of his home.
Police raided a property in Middleton last month, recovering cocaine with an estimated street value of £10,000.
Luxury watches were also recovered during the search on the home of 46 year old Mark McGregor, who was out on licence following a previous conviction for supplying Class A drugs.
McGregor admitted a fresh charge of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs at Leeds Crown Court.
He has now been sent back to prison for three years eight months.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Al Burns of West Yorkshire Police said: “Our officers acted on intelligence provided by members of the local community to investigate McGregor and we found that he was once again dealing in Class A drugs.
“I’m pleased that we have been able to take action to stop his activities and put him behind bars.”
“Officers rely on information from the community to tackle crime and I would urge anyone with information about illegal drug dealing to contact police. Your actions can make a difference.”
