Leeds Bradford Airport passengers told to arrive three hours early to avoid delays

Leeds Bradford Airport is asking passengers to arrive three hours early for flights, to avoid delays at security.
The airport is currently carrying out upgrades to it's security areas, which it says will be "fully operational" by February 2024.
Flyers are being warned of delays while the work takes place, although a message on the airport's website says not to turn any earlier than three hours before departure.
The upgrades will also see an end to removing items from hand luggage while going through security.
It also includes new body scanners, e-gates and "smart tray return".
