Leeds Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain has landed her own cooking show.
The new two-parter, titled Chronicles of Nadiya, will see her exploring her family's roots in Bangladesh and trying out new recipes.
Cooking's always been central to Nadiya's family life and she says she always encourages her children to have a go in the kitchen:
“They’ve always been really interested in cooking and I’ve always told them don’t be afraid of the kitchen, you’ve got to get in there and I think sometimes as parents we can be over cautious. I’m trying to teach them not to be scared because you will cut your fingers now and again but you will be alright. They’re really good in the kitchen now – it’s my husband I can’t get in there – useless!”
The new two-part series, The Chronicles of Nadiya will air on BBC One
