Kirkgate Market project set to boost Yorkshire businesses
It's hoped the £13m renovation underway at Kirkgate Market will give more local businesses a chance to trade, as well as attracting hundreds of extra customers.
As the refurbishment nears completion, speciality and artisan food and drink producers are being given the chance to take up some of the remaining spots within its new fresh food hall.
It's due to open this spring, with meat, fish and other fresh food all in one defined area.
It's hoped when the new Victoria Gate development opens, the Market will benefit from hundreds of thousands of extra people visiting the area.
