Kevin Sinfield has received a big boost on day five of his seven ultramarathons challenge for MND research.
His initial target of £777,777 has been smashed, with two days to go.
The Leeds Rhinos' legend has been in Workington and Whitehaven in Cumbria today for the latest leg.
Leeds Hospitals Charity posted on social media: 'Kev Sinfield and his amazing team have smashed their fundraising target of £777,777! 💜🎉
'This incredible milestone – and every single step of Kev’s challenge – is inspired by his great friend and our late patron, Rob Burrow CBE, who proudly wore the number 7 shirt for Leeds Rhinos.
'Kev’s challenge hasn’t just raised funds – it’s brought the entire MND community together along the way, bringing hope and support for everyone affected by this devastating disease.'
Kevin will finish his last ultramarathon on Sunday, arriving in Headingley where him and Rob Burrow played together.
