Thousands of A-level pupils in West Yorkshire get ready to find out their results
The results are due to be released at 8am this morning
Thousands of people are receiving their A-level and T-level results across West Yorkshire this morning.
Oliver Watkins is the Assistant Headteacher and Director of Sixth Form at Horsforth School he has this advice for students going to pick up their results: "Take a breath, open your envelope and remember these results are just one part of the journey, whatever's in there it doesn't define you."
The Sixth Form at Horsforth has achieved the highest state school A Level results in Leeds for the past three years.
Meanwhile, people are being urged not to panic if they don't get the results they wanted.
Mr Watkins said: "To reassure anyone who finds themselves in clearing anyone perhaps wasn't expecting it, some students choose to go through that process, so some students are actively thinking 'I'm going to go through clearing.'
So, it's not just a back up anymore."
