Police are appealing for witnesses after a 58-year-old man was killed in a collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal Boxing Day crash in Leeds.

A 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at Leeds General Infirmary following a collision involving his Rover 25 car and a BMW 520 estate.

It happened on the A6120 outer ring road at Moortown at around 5.50pm on Friday.

The incident happened near the junction with Roundhay Park Lane.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle in the moments leading up to it is asked to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team via 101.
