An investigation is getting underway after a serious collision in Leeds.
Police say they were called to Moortown yesterday afternoon, where a pensioner was hit by a car.
The woman in her 90's is in hospital in a life threatening condition.
A Police spokesperson said:
"Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in Leeds yesterday afternoon (13/6) in which an elderly pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries.
"The collision happened at around 3:40pm on Moorland Drive, close to the junction with Harrogate Road, in the Moortown area of the city.
"A silver-coloured Skoda Octavia turned right onto Moorland Drive from Harrogate Road when it collided with the female pedestrian.
"The pedestrian, aged in her 90s, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital where her condition is described as life threatening."
