Investigation launched after man stabbed in Bramham

West Yorkshire Police have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in Bramham.

Officers were called at around 1.26am yesterday (11/4) to reports of men acting suspiciously in the street in Lyndon Road, with further reports that a man was assaulted by three men.

Officers found a 19-year-old man with stab wounds to his arm and leg. He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries were not life threatening.

The victim told officers he had been walking in the street when he was approached by the three males who assaulted him and took cash from him before they ran off in the direction of Clifford Road.

Officers from Leeds District Crime Team are carrying out enquiries into the incident and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information.
