Ilkley Christmas light switch on cancelled
The town council says it's due to unpredictable weather and severe warnings
Ilkley town council has cancelled today's Christmas light switch on.
On a social media post, the council wrote:
"We have made the very difficult decision to cancel the Light Switch On Event today. The unpredictable weather and severe warnings mean that we must keep our community, contractors and volunteers safe and the only way to ensure this is by not running the event."
