Man treated for serious injuries after stabbing in Hunslet

It's believed he suffered stab and slash wounds during a disturbance in Arthington Place

A man has been treated in hospital for serious head and neck injuries, after a stabbing in Hunslet early yesterday morning.

The 42 year old turned up at A&E with wounds consistent with being being struck with a bladed weapon.

His injuries were not life threatening and he has since been discharged.

It's thought he was hut in the area of Arthington Place, Hunslet, at a round 2am on May 12.

Blood was found at the scene and investigations into the circumstances continue.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101.
