Norwegian teenager denies murder plot but admits having guns during arrest in Huddersfield
Johannes Kongsnes Natland, 18, was arrested in the West Yorkshire in March
A Norwegian teenager has admitted having two guns in a hotel room in Huddersfield but denied an alleged murder plot.
Johannes Kongsnes Natland, 18, was arrested in the West Yorkshire town on March 19, two days after arriving in the UK from Norway.
Specialist firearms officers from West Yorkshire Police seized a black Luger 9mm semi-automatic pistol and a revolver from the defendant's room.
On Thursday, Natland pleaded guilty to possession of the firearms and ammunition but denied a fourth charge of conspiracy to murder.
It is alleged that between March 7 and 20 he conspired with others to murder an "unknown person".
The defendant appeared in the dock of the Old Bailey before Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb for the plea hearing.
Natland, who is in custody, faces a trial for the outstanding charge from June 2 next year.
A further pre-trial hearing is due on March 27 next year.
