Police have launched a murder investigation after a mother and son were found dead at a home in Huddersfield earlier this year.

Jane Riddell, 61, and Lee Scott Riddell, 35, were discovered at a property at Greenlea Court on February 3.

Both were pronounced dead a short time later.

Jane's death was deemed suspicious and police have now confirmed a murder investigation was launched at the time.

Lee's death is not being treated as suspicious.

Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is being urged to contact West Yorkshire Police.
