Lorry driver arrested after man killed in Bradford crash
The pedestrian was hit by the HGV at the junction of Bowling Hall Road and Rooley Lane on Sunday
A lorry driver has been arrested following a fatal crash in Bradford in which a pedestrian was killed.
Police were called to the junction of Bowling Hall Road and Rooley Lane at around 11am yesterday (December 8) to reports a HGV had collided with a man who was on foot.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for much of yesterday afternoon to allow for investigation work to take place.
The HGV driver is being questioned on suspicion of dangerous driving.
Witnesses are being urged to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101.
