Man handed year in prison for his role in Harehills disorder

A man has become the 27th person sentenced for taking part in the rioting in Harehills, Leeds, last summer.
20 year old Bailey Hudson, of Harley Gardens in Pudsey, will spend a year behind bars after admitting to arson and violent disorder.
Police were pelted with missiles and a bus was set alight during a night of disorder between July 18 and 19 2024.
83 arrests have been made in connection with the disorder, with 41 charged so far.
Suspects are still being identified, with police using CCTV and facial recognition technology to find those responsible.
