Girl taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in Bradford

An investigation is underway after a girl was hit by a bus in Bradford.

Police say they were called to Manchester Road yesterday evening just after 5pm.

A Police spokesperson said:

"Police were called at 17:10 (2 May) to reports of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian on Manchester Road, Bradford.

"Emergency services including ambulance attended the scene.

"A girl has been injured as a result of the collision and has been taken to hospital for treatment.

"Road closures are currently in place and road users are advised to seek alternative routes.

"Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any dashcam footage is asked to contact the police via 101 or via the website quoting log number 1401 of 2 May."
