George Flanagan extends Huddersfield Giants contract until 2029
The fan favourite says he aims to grow further after impressive debut season
George Flanagan has signed a contract extension with Huddersfield Giants, committing to the club until the end of the 2029 season.
It follows a strong debut Super League campaign for the 22 year old.
"I'm over the moon to re-sign again," Flanagan said. "I’m glad to get it over the line now and focus on what could be a big year for the Giants.
“I’ve been focusing on getting more physicality, right like Robbo has wanted me to do, get my fitness right and you know, you’re only as good as your last year, and I want to kick on and be better than I was last year.
“Obviously, I’ve got to taste the Super League last year, so to play again this year would be massive!
"I just want to kick on and take the Giants to somewhere they haven’t been for a while – up in that top section, that’s where all the boys want to be. We’ve been working hard and we’ve had a great pre-season so far, so now I’m looking forward to it.”
