Fire fighters are at the scene of a fire on Bolton Road in Bradford.
Emergency services say it's at an unoccupied apartment block close to Broadway.
People in the area are being asked to keep their windows and doors shut.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said:
"Firefighters from across West Yorkshire are currently dealing with a high rise building fire on Bolton Road, Bradford.
"Fire involved in roof of 8 storey unoccupied apartment block.
"The incident now reduced to 6 Appliances and 2 Aerials."
