With all the stresses and strains of everyday life sometimes a hug is the best thing to lift your mood.
Emulating the success of cuddle agencies in the US, Kitty Mansfield has set up BeCuddled Europe's first professional cuddle agency.
BeCuddled offers a range of non-sexual services, designed to destress or cheer up those who need a hug such as politicians and busy executives. They are currently looking for professional cuddlers, so if you interested in joining the company you can find out more information on their website.
Starting at £50 an hour, there are four different packages with the most expensive being the 'dusk-to-dawn' service from 10.30pm - 7pm, which is only available to their well-established clients.
Despite the unusual nature of the business Kitty insists that there is no sexual element to the cuddles and anyone who has worked in the sex industry within the last 12 months will not be allowed to be a professional cuddler.
Explaining the service Kitty said, "For the sceptics I say, ‘If you’re lucky enough not to need a cuddle then good for you, but why would you deprive people who don’t have a special someone of the great health benefits that come from touch?’ It’s like saying these people aren’t worthy of being touched."
