Traffic and parking advice for Ed Sheeran's huge Leeds gigs this weekend
He'll be at Roundhay Park on Friday and Saturday night
Tens of thousands of Ed Sheeran fans will descend on Roundhay Park this weekend as Ed Sheeran plays two huge gigs in our city.
The capacity of the park's been increased to 80,000 especially for the concerts on Friday and Saturday night.
But it does mean there'll be a lot of traffic in the area, with some roads closed and no-stopping zones being enforced too.
Road Closures
The following roads will be closed in full, unless stated otherwise, from 10am Friday until 4am Saturday and 10am Saturday until 4am Sunday:
- Princes Avenue
- Mansion Lane
- Park Avenue
- West Avenue
- Wetherby Road (Oakwood Lane to Easterly Road)
- Old Park Road
- Park View Crescent
- Lidgett Park Road (Princes Avenue to Old Park Road)
Parking Info
Car Park in Gipton LS8 3LF is a 30 minute walk away and opens at 10am. Cost is £15.
Roundhay Park LS8 1ED - opens at 10am. Cost is £15 (cash only).
On-site Blue Badge Parking:
Limited parking available for valid blue badge holders on a first come, first served basis. Roundhay Park LS8 1ED, (follow signage)
Drop Off and Pick Up Drop off/pick up point ONLY from 10am Roundhay Park LS8 1ED
Taxi drop off/pick up: Wetherby Road LS8 2LE.

The following roads will have No Stopping/Towing Zones in place from 10am Friday until 4am Sunday (in full unless stated otherwise):

- Street Lane (North side from Princes Avenue to Roman Avenue. South side from Princes Avenue to Shaftesbury Avenue)

- Park View Crescent
- North Park Avenue
- Lidgett Park Road
- Gledhow Lane (From Roundhay Road to Lidgett Lane)
- Fitzroy Drive (From Gledhow Lane to Oakwell Crescent)
