Sheffield Eagles say forward Tyler Dickinson is 'well on the road to recovery', after revealing he suffered a serious accident earlier this summer.
The 28 year old prop, from Halifax, last played for Eagles against York Knights on June 1.
During the week after that game Tyler was seriously injured and spent time in hospital.
Eagles say they've kept the news under wraps since 'at the request of his family', with Craig Lingard and Club Chaplain Baz Gascoyne both visiting him in hospital.
He is now recovering and could return to the field in the coming months.
Dickinson started his career in Super League at Huddersfield Giants, before moving to Batley Bulldogs in 2019 and Eagles in 2021.
