Funeral arrangements have been confirmed for Yorkshire cricketing legend Dickie Bird, who died last month at the age of 92.
The life of the beloved former umpire will be celebrated at a service at Barnsley's St Mary's Church at 2pm on Sunday October 19.
A private family-only cremation will follow at Barnsley Crematorium.
Barnsley Council have revealed the funeral is being held on a weekend 'so that those who did wish to attend could do so.'
Limited seating will be available within the church, however the funeral will also be broadcast on speakers outside.
The funeral procession will stop briefly in front of Dickie's statue on its way into the church.
Barnsley-born Bird began his playing career at Yorkshire in 1956 and later represented Leicestershire.
But it was as an umpire that he emerged as one of the sport's most recognisable figures and colourful characters, officiating in 66 Test matches and 69 one-day internationals, including three World Cup finals.
He became President of Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 2014.
