The dad of a Leeds man who was murdered on his sister’s doorstep is to launch a new appeal to try and find those responsible, 8 years on from his death.

Adam Chadwick was visiting his sister in June 2008 when three men and a woman burst into her home and shot him in the head. He died two days later in hospital.

At the time the police believed it was a case of mistaken identity however are now unclear of the motive.

It was reported that a woman visited the house before the shooting asking for someone called ‘Michelle’ but the police have never been able to trace this woman.

Adam’s father Martin needs answers as to why his son was brutally murdered.

"You can lose people but when it’s a tragic event like this you need to know why, for someone to come to that house and shoot them you need to know why, you need to know the answers" – Martin Chadwick
