THC is one of the psychoactive ingredients found in cannabis and is the one usually associated with getting ‘high’.

A drug and alcohol charity in West Yorkshire is warning about the effects this could have, with a particular focus on young people using these vapes.

James Barrie is the Service Manager at Forward Leeds, he said: "They often contain unknown and dangerous substances.

"We’ve seen an increase in people experiencing unexpected and serious effects, especially among young people who think they know what they’re taking - but don’t.”

James said there is a lot of support for people, if they are worried about this, including at Forward Leeds.

He's urging anyone concerned to call the young persons team for advice.
