CCTV appeal after Leeds Cash Converters robberies

Police have released CCTV images as part of their efforts to trace an armed robber said to have threatened staff at two pawn shops in Leeds.

The man struck a Cash Converters on Dewsbury Road in Beeston at around 4pm on November 4.

He arrived on an electric bike, producing an angle grinder and suspected handgun which which he threatened staff.

The bike used by the suspect is believed to be a Talaria Sting model

He fled the scene on the bike with jewellery.

The same man is also believed to have targeted the Bramley Shopping Centre branch of Cash Converters at around 4pm on September 15, during which jewellery was also taken.

Anyone who recognises the suspect, or has seen his distinctive Talaria Sting electric bike, is being urged to contact police on 101.
