Bradford men jailed over conspiracy to supply drugs across north and Scotland
The four men will service a combined total of more than 25 years behind bars
Three men from Bradford have been jailed for their part in a conspiracy to supply drugs across the North of England and Scotland.
39 year old Sheraz Ali, from Allerton as well as 49 year old Ashiq Hussain and 21 year old Junaid Khan, both of Bingley Road, were all sentenced at Bradford Crown Court yesterday (October 7).
All were charged in connection with conspiracies to supply heroin to Newcastle and cannabis to Dundee.
23 year old Mosin Raja, of Trenton Drive, was jailed earlier this year after being caught in Dundee with 15kg of cannabis in the boot of his car.
In April 2020, Ali and Hussain arranged for heroin to be stored in the door panel of a car, with a driver recruited to take the drugs to Newcastle.
Police arrested Khan and the driver, before tracking down Ali and Hussain.
Around 6.5kg of compressed heroin was recovered during the operation. Hussain was found to be forensically linked to the drugs and a hydraulic press was found at his house.
All of those charged in the case admitted to their roles in the conspiracy.
The men have been sentenced as follows:
Sheraz Ali (39) of Bronshill Grove in Allerton - jailed for ten years after admitting to conspiracy to supply drugs.
Ashiq Hussain (49) of Bingley Road - jailed for nine years and four months after admitting to conspiracy to supply drugs.
Junaid Khan (21) of Bingley Road - jailed for three years and eight months after admitting to conspiracy to supply drugs.
Mosin Raja (23) of Trenton Drive - jailed for two years in April after admitting to conspiracy to supply cannabis.
Kesa Malik (26) of Wingrove Gardens in Newcastle - will be sentenced at a later date after admitting being part of the drug conspiracy on Tyneside.
