The final bus services are set to return to Bradford Interchange next month, following the reopening of the travel hub earlier this year.

11 services have been departing from streets surrounding the bus station since January, due to ongoing resurfacing works.

Now the West Yorkshire Combined Authority has confirmed all will return to stands at the Interchange from May 18.

It includes buses serving Huddersfield, Halifax and Thornton, among other destinations.

Mayor of West Yorkshire Tracy Brabin said: “It's great news for passengers in Bradford that the Interchange will soon welcome back its remaining bus services.

“Combined with the wider improvements at the station, a fully operational Bradford Interchange helps us to continue building a better-connected region that works for all.”

Renovations have been ongoing at the Interchange since last summer, when the building was forced to close because of structural issues.

The remaining work is set to be finished in the summer.

The following bus services will return to Bradford Interchange from next month:

363, 576, 607, 613 & 614 towards Buttershaw, 615, 616, 619, 681, 682, X63
