Police investigate large-scale fight at garage in Bradford
17 people were reportedly involved in an armed assault
Detectives are investigating a large-scale fight involving weapons outside a garage in Bradford earlier this month.
Police were alerted at 7:18pm on January 24, after three men were reportedly attacked by multiple individuals armed with weapons, including bats and metal bars at the site on Gledhill Road.
The incident, believed to be a planned attack, involved 17 people. They involved arrived and left in three vehicles, one of which has been identified as a black Nissan Navara.
Three men have been arrested in connection to the assault. Two 24-year-old men, both from Bradford, remain in custody while a 50-year-old man, also from Bradford, has been released on conditional bail following an interview.
Detective Inspector Andrew Queen of West Yorkshire Police said:
“This appears to have been a targeted, pre-planned attack with those involved turning up at the premises armed with bats and metal bars.
"Thankfully, while one of the victims continues to receive hospital treatment, all three are expected to make a full recovery.
"This incident was understandably very concerning for those involved though, and we are conducting extensive enquiries to identify those responsible.
"There is CCTV which shows the events surrounding this incident and I am hopeful that someone may have more information about the individuals or vehicles involved in this offence.”
Anyone with information is being urged to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.
