Man accused of killing mum and three children in Bradford house fire dies

A man accused of the murder of a mum and her three young children in a Bradford house fire had died while being held in prison.
45 year old Mohammed Shabir, of Alice Street in Keighley, was one of three men facing charges over the death of Bryonie Gawith, 29; Denisty Birtle, nine; Oscar Birtle, five; and 22-month-old Aubree Birtle.
They were all killed when flames broke out at their home on Westbury Road, Bradford, in the early hours of August 21 last year.
The Prisons Service has confirmed Shabir, who was being held on remand at HMP Leeds, died yesterday (September 24) in hospital.
The circumstances of the death are not yet clear and an investigation is underway.
Two other men - Sharaz Ali, 39, of no fixed address and Calum Sunderland, 25, of Calton Street in Keighley are set to go on trial in November after denying murder and attempted murder.
