Body found in search for missing Leeds man

The discovery was made in the River Aire at Kirkstall

Police searching for a missing man in Leeds have found a body in the River Aire at Kirkstall.

64 year old Seamus Mcloughlin was reported missing yesterday in Bramley.

He was last seen leaving the Nisa store on Raynville Road at around midday.

A body was found in the water near to Redcote Lane bridge in Kirkstall shortly after 11:30am today.

Formal identification is yet to be carried out, but it is believed to Mr McLoughlin and his family have been informed.
