Traffic's expected to be busy again in Bingley today and tomorrow - with part of the town's relief road shut for the second weekend running.

The A650 Sir Fred Hoyle Way is closed from the town centre to Cottingley (the reverse of last weekend's restrictions) as works are being carried out on the bridge that spans the River Aire.

It means both lanes heading away from town towards the Bankfield roundabout will be shut, with one lane closed the opposite way to protect those carrying out the works on the opposite carriageway.

Last weekend saw long queues as motorists used the only viable alternative route through the town centre.

The road's expected to reopen by 6am on Monday (10th June).
