Bench being unveiled for pregnant Leeds woman who was pushed off Arthur's Seat

A bench is set to be unveiled today, in the name of a Leeds woman who was murdered by her husband.
Fawziyah Javed, who was pregnant, was killed after she was pushed off of Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh, by her husband.
The memorial bench is being unveiled by Karma Nirvana, a Leeds honour based abuse charity, in partnership with The City of Edinburgh Council.
It's taking place at 1 pm, today (2nd September) to mark the three year anniversary of Fawziyah's death, and It'll be placed on Arthur's Seat.
The 31-year-old managed to tell passers-by what happened before she past away, and collected evidence during the months of abuse she endured.
Kashif Anwar was found guilty of her murder last year and was sentenced to life imprisonment, with a minimum term of 20 years.

"Her inner and outer beauty, her humanitarian spirit, and her unwavering kindness made her a light in the lives of all who knew her.
"Even in her most vulnerable moments, she sought to protect those she loved most. She was a beacon of kindness, generosity, and selflessness, and we are committed to remembering her for the compassionate and caring individual she was."
