Appeal after Leeds shop targeted by armed robbers

A member of staff was threatened with a suspected firearm over the weekend

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an armed robbery at a shop in Leeds.

It happened at the No Problem convenience store on Armley Ridge Road yesterday evening (January 26) with police being called at 8:"4pm.

Two masked men allegedly entered the store and threatened a staff member with what appeared to be a handgun.

Both suspects then fled the scene with cash, cigarettes and alcohol.

The staff member was left unharmed by shaken.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who saw the men flee the scene, or who captured CCTV or dashcam footage in the area at the time to get in touch.
