Areas at risk of flooding in West Yorkshire are being advised to 'stay alert' today.

Earlier in the month, parts of Leeds and Bradford was battered by flash floods, although the Met Office doesn't expect the flooding to be as bad.

But it is as a yellow weather warning for rain is in place today - which means there's still a high chance of flooding & travel disruption across the region.

Tom Morgan is a meteorologist from the Met Office - He has this advice:

"Don't travel if you're expecting flooding on your routes.

"There's no need to put yourself at risk by travelling through flood water.

"There's some excellent advice on the Environment Agency's website.

"We are going to see a very wet day.

"There's certainly the potential for some of the more rural areas as well to see some surface water flowing."

The yellow weather warning is expected to remain in place until 6am on Thursday.
