Police launch manhunt for man wanted after murder in Leeds
Alfie Milburn is wanted by West Yorkshire Police after Harry Abbot's death
West Yorkshire Police has issued a wanted appeal for a man in connection with the murder of a teenager in Leeds earlier this week.
Harry Abbott was killed after being stabbed in an altercation taking place in Parkside View in Seacroft at around 11:50am on Wednesday (October 8th).
He was then taken away in a car to St Wilfrid's Crescent in Harehills, but died a short time later due to his injuries.
Now, police are looking to speak to 19-year-old Alfie Milburn from the Seacroft and Whinmoor areas of Leeds as officers believe he could help in their enquiries.
Speaking about the appeal, Detective Chief Inspector Matt Holdsworth from West Yorkshire Police said that Alfie should come forward as quickly as possible.
"Our investigation into Harry’s murder remains ongoing, we have now arrested six people for various offences in connection with the incident.
“Numerous enquiries have been made to locate Alfie Milburn, he knows he is wanted for this crime.
“I would appeal directly to Alfie to hand himself in. Anyone who is seen to be helping Alfie is committing a crime and will be arrested.
“If anyone see’s Alfie or who knows where he is, do not approach him but report this to us by calling 999.”
Meanwhile, six people have been arrested for their roles in Harry's murder, with two suspects - a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman - being bailed pending further enquiries.
Three people aged, 19, 19 and 22 respectively currently remain in police custody after being arrested for aggravated burglary.
Meanwhile, the sixth suspect - a 27-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary - was released without charge.
